Introduction to czechfinance.co.uk

What we do: Czech Finance arranges mortgages for “foreigners” buying property in the Czech Republic. Most of our clients are British - but some are Irish, American, Dutch or other EU, including of course, Czech. Mortgage applicants often ask for other types of advice and support and we provide as much as we can.

Where we are: We are based both in the UK and in the Czech Republic. Our UK presence is important for you, because you will need to get a variety of personal documents to us for us to process your application.

Why this helps: You can do this by dealing with our UK base, housed in our Sussex Administration Centre in Brighton. You also benefit from our strong relationships with the banks we may select to talk to on your behalf.

It’s different there: There is nothing automatic about Czech mortgages; it is ultimately a face-to-face process that we engage in on your behalf and the strength of our banking relationships relies partly upon our ability to see the banks there in person.

Established & registered: In the Czech Republic, we operate as Czech Finance and Mortgages s.r.o., a company which is wholly owned by the same British founder. This company has the Czech trading licences necessary to offer financial advice.

GOOD MORTGAGE PRODUCTS: Czech mortgages are actually, better products in many cases than British mortgages. They have low interest rates, a long term of years and a relatively high Loan-To-Value percentage.

Demanding application process: These mortgages are worth having. Unfortunately, compared to what you might be used to, they are very difficult to apply for. Czech Finance will help you apply for your mortgage(s) as painlessly and speedily as local processes allow, in addition to remaining accessible to you at all times – so don’t be daunted and if parts of the process puzzle you, pick up the phone!
